Ed DelSignore, Outfielder
Ed DelSignore, a young East Providence native, was the only new player added to the 2001 Grays. The team's record improved from 10-11 to 23-8, which in itself speaks volumes about his talents. He was central to the team's success, generally serving as center fielder and leadoff hitter. His special talents include perhaps the best speed on the team, a strong throwing arm, and sure hands. His dashing appearance also earned him the role of Concerned Gambler in the forthcoming moving picture, "By The Sea". He is still a fresh-faced youngster, and is expected to develop into an even more fearsome batsman as he fills out. |
